The Ileor Framework project aims to provide a plugin based, distributed architecture for the rapid deployment of massively multiplayer online games. While this is the main purpose of the project, it can also be used to quickly introduce multiplayer support into existing games.
It is written in C++ and currently supports only POSIX compliant operating systems (eg. Linux). It is released under the liberal MIT Open Source License.

A Note on Documentation Efforts

In the coming days, we hope to start working on the documentation for the project so that people can start using Ileor without having to browse through the source code.
If any community members have gained an idea of how to use Ileor, we request you to post information, tips, tricks and code into the forums or wiki. You can also reach the developers at the Ileor IRC channel (#ileor) on Freenode.net.
